R V Teachers College (IASE) offers, a Graduate course in Education (B. Ed.) The course is of two year duration which comprises of four semesters. It is affiliated to Bengaluru City University, Bengaluru and approved by the NCTE, New Delhi. The B.Ed programme follows the rules and regulations along with the curriculum\/ syllabi structured, prescribed and approved by the by the statutory council Bengaluru City University.<\/span><\/p>\nB.Ed two years programme of study spreads over four semesters with four term end examinations, the successful completion of which would lead to the award of a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Education having <\/span>choice-based credit-system.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div>
Eligibility<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
\n- A citizen of India who has passed any Bachelor\u2019s degree examination of Bangalore University or any University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent through 10+2+3\/4\/5 pattern of education who has obtained 50% of marks in aggregate of all the subjects he\/she has studied for degree is eligible for admission to B.Ed. programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- The candidate with less than 50% aggregate in the degree, but a Masters Degree with 50% is also eligible for B.Ed. programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- In the case of SC\/ST, Category -1 and physically challenged student 45% marks in aggregate of all the subjects he\/she has studied for degree course or 45% in post graduation.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- A candidate for the admission to degree of education (B.Ed.) must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the directives of Govt. of Karnataka from time to time<\/span>. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
